This document discusses security considerations and resources for implementing the requirements of the HIPAA Security Rule.  It can be used by organizations to help provide a structured yet flexible framework for selecting, employing and evaluating security features in information systems.

Of particular interest, Chapter Four breaks the Security Rule into manageable categories and provides key activities and questions for each one.  Organizations can use these categories to easily navigate to the data security topics that they wish to focus on.
