dataCHATT is a training and technical assistance (TA) service to help Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program grantees improve their data management efforts--in terms of collecting, managing, reporting, and using Ryan White data.
dataCHATT works with grantees to assess data TA and training needs and provides support to HAB and its grantees through distance learning, on-site TA and training, and electronic and written materials.
dataCHATT is one of the multiple data-focused TA/training resources for Ryan White HIV/AIDS Programs. Other data TA resources can be found through the TARGET Center and Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Data Support websites. Available resources include CAREWare support, Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Data Report Assistance, and Web Technical Support.
dataCHATT is funded by HRSA's HIV/AIDS Bureau under cooperative agreement and administered by JSI Research and Training Institute, Inc. The HIV/AIDS Bureau administers the federal Ryan White HIV/AIDS program through hundreds of grantees, who deliver health care to over half a million people with HIV disease each year. Enacted in 1990, the federal Ryan White Program fills gaps in care faced by those with low-incomes and little or no insurance.
Relevant TA and training recommendations are in development under dataCHATT to reflect key findings from our recent data needs and capacity assessments of grantees, and ultimately to inform TA planning in the context of other resources available to Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program grantees.
